Nandamuri Harikrishna demise: Nagarjuna’s Devadas, Naga Chaitanya’s Shailaja Reddy Alludu launch postponed

The saddening news of Nandamuri Harikrishna’s death came as a shock for the people in the Telugu film industry and fans. Akkineni Nagarjuna, who celebrates his birthday today, woke up to this shocking news. Many celebs took to Twitter to express their shock over his sudden demise of the actor. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was shocked to hear the news about his brother-in-law Harikrishna’s death and soon visited the hospital with Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram.

The makers of Nagarjuna’s Devadas have postponed the song launch of the film. The makers had planned to release the first single, ‘Vaaru Veeru’ today. However, it has been postponed due to the sad demise of Nandamuri Harikrishna.

Also, the makers of Naga Chaitanya starrer Shailaja Reddy Alludu have postponed the trailer of the film. The production house announced the same on twitter. The tweet reads, “Harikrishna garu’s death is very unfortunate… You’ll be remembered forever sir … in respect to the great human being we are holding back our Trailer launch, further date will be updated soon.”

Vishal’s Pandemkodi 2 teaser launch has also been postponed as well following the demise of Nandamuri Harikrishna. The makers will soon announce the release date for the tear launch.

Meanwhile, Manoj Kumar Manchu took to Twitter and requested media to stop posting the pictures of Nandamuri Harikrishna from the accident spot. He tweeted, “Request the media to stop telecasting #HariKrishna garu’s post accident visuals..It’s disheartening for his family & followers to witness their loved one in such an unexpected way..He belongs to all of us! Pls show some respectHope u oblige our request.Tq #RIPHarikrishnaGaru”

Harikrishna made his acting debut as a child artist in Sri Krishnavataram as little Krishna in 1964, directed by Kamalakara Kameshwara Rao. He then starred in Talla Pellamma (1970), which was followed by Tatamma Kala (1974), Ram Raheem (1974) and Daana Veera Shura Karna (1977). After a long gap, he returned to his acting career with a guest role in the Mohan Babu-starrer Sri Ramulayya (1998), followed by a full length role alongside Nagarjuna in Seetharama Raju (1999). His notable films are Laahiri Laahiri Laahirilo (2002) and Seetayya (2003), which are directed by YVS Chowdary; these films are biggest hits of his career.
