Avasarala Srinivas is all set for the release of his upcoming film Babu Baga Busy which is the remake of Bollywood adult comedy Hunterr. The film features Srinivas Avasarala, Tejaswi Madivada, Mishti Chakravarty and Supriya Aysola in lead roles. The remake is being directed by debutant Naveen Medaram and produced by Abhishek Nama under the banner Abhishek Pictures.

Director Naveen says that the film does have bold scenes but they haven’t used them for cheap publicity or to draw audiences to the cinema hall. “The film has bold scenes but they are not used for cheap publicity or to fool the audience to come to theatres. It’s an honest effort to talk about a person who is branded as a sex addict. The soul of the original Hindi movie Hunterr is retained but there is a slight change in the way the characters are presented,” says Naveen Medaram.

Srinivas Avasarala, who plays the lead role in the film, says,” Unlike the movies which many search in Google in the night, this movie doesn’t have vulgarity. They want us not to see the promotional material out of context as the same bold scenes wouldn’t look vulgar if they are seen in context.”

Babu Baga Busy is hitting the big screens on May 5th 2017, just a week after the release of Baahubali 2. Producer Abhishek Nama had said that he believes that good content will succeed irrespective of when the film gets released. Abhishek also says that they have theatres reserved for the cinema and it is not a concern at this point in time.
