Shooting of Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ began recently after a long wait and the makers are canning important scenes in Hyderabad in a huge set built in the outskirts of the city. Starring Chiranjeevi in the titular role, the film is being directed by Surender Reddy and is being produced by the Mega Star’s son and actor Ram Charan under the banner Konidela Productions. Besides Chiranjeevi, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ also stars Nayanthara, Kiccha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Bollywood Mega Star Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. However, there have been too many speculations around the cast of the film. Reports are doing rounds that lady superstar Nayanthara has opted out of ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ owing to date issues. This comes after music composer A.R.Rahman had to opt out of the film due to tight schedules and not being able to allocate dates for it. However, makers now confirm that Nayanthara is part of the cast and hasn’t opted out of the film.

Reports reveal that Nayanthara will begin shooting for her portions from February 2018 and the actress has already allocated bulk dates for the film. “She’s still very much part of the project. Nayanthara will start shooting from February onwards. The team has successfully completed its first schedule in which an action scene was shot under the supervision of international stunt choreographer Lee Whitaker,” a report in HT quoted a source close to the unit of the film. The rumours started spreading like fire about Nayanthara walking out of the film and people assumed that it may be true since A.R.Rahman had already opted out. However, this clarification from the makers clears all the air around the lady superstar’s role in the film. The expectations on the film are quite high since it would be based on India’s one of the first freedom fighters, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, and is being played by Chiranjeevi.

Ever since it was announced that Mega Star would be playing the titular role in the period film Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, fans of the mega star have been eagerly waiting to hear more about the film. Directed by Surender Reddy, Sya Raa Narasimha Reddy is all set to go on shooting floors in December and latest reports reveal that the film may be released in 2018 towards the end. The film is being produced by Chiranjeevi’s son, Ram Charan, under the banner Konidela Productions. “Director Surender Reddy is planning to shoot an important scene with Chiranjeevi and a few other artistes. He wants to continue there for a few days and then shift to another location,” a report in DC quoted a source. It is also being said that the team behind the pre-production of the film has done extensive research and has ensured every aspect about the freedom fighter is covered.

The makers had announced the cast and crew of the film along with the title motion poster of the film and there were presumptions that Vijay Sethupathi may be playing a cameo in the film. But according to latest reports, Vijay Sethupathi is said to be playing a pivotal role in ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and will be seen throughout the film. Reports also reveal that the character being essayed by Vijay Sethupathi is very crucial for the narrative of the story. Surender Reddy had recently said that the film will be a humongous one and will make India proud. The action sequences will be designed by Hollywood stunt choreographer Lee Whittaker who has worked on films like Baahubali, Die Hard, Pearl Harbor and X-Men: Apocalypse. And with such big names in the cast and crew of the film, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ will be one of the biggest films of 2018 in South Indian cinema. “The film is going to create another landmark in Telugu cinema as the director has worked towards it. It’s a hectic task for him and the team as they have done a complete make-up test for every artiste. Now, everything is ready,” Surender Reddy had said recently.
