Actor Nayanthara’s Aramm, which was directed by Gopi Nainar, will now be dubbed into Telugu and is titled Karthavyam. The film will be distributed by Sharath Marrar and will hit the screens on March 16th, 2018, announced the producer recently. The story of Aramm was a hard hitting message about the scarcity issues in rural areas in the interiors of Tamil Nadu. Nayanthara plays an IAS officer in the film and delivered an intense performance in the film. Aramm was one of the biggest hits in Tamil in 2017 and the makers of the Telugu dubbed version will be hoping that the film will do well in Telugu states. The makers had recently released the teaser of Karthavyam on the occasion of Women’s Day and announced that the film will hit the screens on March 16th.

Director of Karthavyam, Gopi Nainar, during the release of Aramm had said that Nayanthara had supported a lot during the making of the film and it was her efforts which yielded the positive results. Producer, KJ Rajesh, had said that Karthavyam (Aramm in Tamil) will have Nayanthara in every frame and will be the actor’s show all the way. “The film is socially relevant and is based on a real-life incident, but it is more of an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Nayanthara is there in every frame and we are riding on her box-office power to bring in the family audiences,” Rajesh had told a leading daily in an interview.
Nayanthara has a huge following in Telugu as well since she has acted in a lot of Telugu movies. Nayanthara was last seen in Jai Simha alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna and played his love interest in the film. Directed by K.S.Ravi Kumar, Jai Simha was a decent success which hit the screens during Sankranthi in the early part of this year.
