The cast of the film is quite interesting and has some big film personalities in it.

Another filmmaker who will also be part of ‘Mahanati’ will be Pellichoopulu director Tarun Bhascker who will essay the role of SIngeetham Srinivas Rao. Singeetham Srinivas Rao had assisted K.V.Reddy on ‘Mayabazar’ and the same scenes are being canned at the present moment. The veteran filmmaker, Singeetham Srinivas Rao visited the sets of ‘Mahanati’ today in Hyderabad and overlooked the shooting progess.
Veteran actor Mohan Babu will be seen playing iconic actor S.V.Ranga Rao in ‘Mahanati’ and will be seen essaying the character played by SVR in ‘Mayabazar’ in the biopic. Mohan Babu is also shooting for his portions currently in Hyderabad.
