Nithya Menen roped in for Venkatesh’s upcoming film with director Teja?

Actor Daggubati Venkatesh will begin his work on his next with director Teja on December 13th, which happens to be birthday of he actor. The film is yet to be titled and will be bankrolled by Suresh Production and AK Entertainments jointly. It was being reported that the makers had approached top star Kajal Aggarwal for the female lead role but latest reports reveal that Kajal couldn’t accept the project due to prior commitments. Latest reports reveal that Nithya Menen has been approached by the makers and a narration of the script will happen soon. If this materialises, this will be the first time that Nithya will be acting opposite Daggubati Venkatesh.

Nithya Menen was last seen in Janatha Garage opposite Jr. NTR in Telugu and alongside Vijay in ‘Mersal’ in Tamil which is now released Telugu as ‘Adirindhi’. Nithya is known choosing scripts which she believes in and not just because the cast has a star cast. Nithya also has another Malayalam film up her sleeve which is titled ‘Praana’ which is currently being shot.

Venkatesh was last seen in ‘Guru’ which was a remake of R.Madhavan starrer ‘Irudhi Suttru’. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film was a decent hit but not as big a hit as the original one on Hindi and Tamil. Venky has since been on a break and has been listening to scripts for his next. Much to the joy of fans, the film will be a commercial entertainer and is said to have a breezy story.
