Besides Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bollywood actor Vidya Balan has also be signed on to play an important role in the film. Vidya Balan would be seen playing Basavatharakam, NTR’s wife, in the biopic. The biopic will feature Balakrishna himself in the titular role and will portray the life of NTR from the time he made an entry in films till he became the Chief Minister of then Andhra Pradesh, reports reveal. The biopic will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi since NTR was a popular figure across India in films and political circles.
