Ace filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss is currently the much talked about filmmaker in South Indian film circles because of his film with Super Star Mahesh Spyder which hit screens today worldwide. Spyder is said to be a stylish thriller which will have Mahesh Babu playing the role of an intelligence officer. The film is being released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, and will mark the debut of Mahesh Babu in Tamil since it is his first straight film in Tamil. This is the first-time association of director A.R. Murugadoss with Super Star Mahesh and expectations are quite high on the film.
While all this is happening, buzz in the film circles was that A.R. Murugadoss might team up with Baahubali star Prabhas for a film soon and it might go on floors in 2018. Reports were indicating that that Prabhas heard a narration from A.R. Murugadoss and the two had a discussion about the film. However, contrary to all these reports, director A.R. Murugadoss has now confirmed that he has not narrated any story to Prabhas and they are not working on a film.
During a recent media interaction ahead of Spyder’s release, A.R. Murugadoss clarified that he had an informal interaction with Prabhas and there was no discussion about a story for a film. Prabhas is currently shooting for his upcoming film Saaho in Hyderabad which is being directed by Sujeeth. Saaho also stars Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role, marking her debut in Telugu. The film is said to be slated to be released in 2018.
