Many speculations were doing rounds around the much-awaited biopic NTR which was supposed to directed by Teja who opted out of the project after it was launched. Reports were doing rounds that NTR biopic may be directed by Nandamuri Balakrishna himself who would be seen playing his father in the film. Few days ago, buzz was that Gautamiputra Satakarni director Krish may direct the biopic and Balakrishna has already met the filmmaker regarding this. And making an official statement about this, the makers have confirmed that Krish Jagarlamudi would be directing the biopic on the legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Krish is currently busy with another period drama Manikarnika and will soon begin the direction of NTR biopic.

According to reports, Rana Daggubati will be seen playing NTR’s son in law and current chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, in the biopic which is an exciting news for the fans of the Nandamuri family. While Rana Daggubati and the makers are yet to confirm this development, sources in the film circles reveal that the discussions have been completed and Rana Daggubati will soon sign the dotted line.
The biopic will feature Balakrishna himself in the titular role and will portray the life of NTR from the time he made an entry in films till he became the Chief Minister of then Andhra Pradesh, reports reveal. The biopic will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi since NTR was a popular figure across India in films and political circles. The makers are yet to reveal the complete cast and crew of the film, which is expected to be announced in the coming days. It is being said that few top actors from various South Indian film industries are being approached for the biopic. The shooting of NTR bipic is underway in bits and pieces in Hyderabad as the unit is awaiting for a director for the film.
