Manchu Manoj is back in the reckoning with another unique subject in his upcoming film titled Okkadu Migiladu, which is based on the civil war in Sri Lanka. Manoj will be seen playing the role of LTTE leader Prabhakaran and also a student leader in the film, making it a double role for him first time in his career. With his rustic and intense look as Prabhakaran, Manoj brings out a new perspective in him which was never seen before in his career so far.

The makers of the film have now released the theatrical trailer of Okkadu Migiladu which looks very impressive and seems to be an attempt at a subject which was never done before in Telugu cinema. Directed by Ajay Andrews Nuthakki, the story of Okkadu Migiladu will be based on the Sri Lankan civil war which runs parallelly with the story of a student leader who fights the unwanted elements in politics in the state. Both these roles are being played by Manoj himself which will be for the first time in his career.

Besides Manoj, Okkadu Migiladu also features Anisha Ambrose who has shed her glamourous role in this film and playing a character with a rustic look. The screenplay of Okkadu Migiladu is by Gopi Mohan and is being produced by SN Reddy and Lakshmi Kanth under the banner Padmaja Films India Pvt. Ltd. An interesting aspect of Okkadu Migiladu is that actor Manchu Manoj has designed few stunt sequences in the film which are said to have come out really well.
