One Heart: This Concert Film by A R Rahman is the next big thing

With a vast experience in composing and singing under his belt, maestro A.R. Rahman is all set to appear as an actor for the first time in a concert film which is titled One Heart. The film will narrate the story of how concerts are made and the stories behind the stage of all the concerts Rahman has been part of so far. It could be said that the film is a professional biography of AR Rahman and one Heart will portray the understanding between Rahman and his fans in a complete new dimension.

One Heart will portray how Rahman composes a song, how he chooses his singers and how he manages his instrument players and orchestra. One Heart will be released worldwide in Tamil, Hindi and English languages simultaneously and is expected to be out on August 25. One Heart consists of 16 songs which includes Tamil songs as well. The film was recently premiered in Canada and received great response from audience there.

The plot of the film is mainly to portray how a musician approaches a song and what inspires him to render a tune for an emotion. After achieving so much in his career now, A.R. Rahman is now all set to experiment with new elements and One Heart will be one such project.

Besides One Heart, Rahman alos has Vijay’s MERSAL in his kitty on which he has been working fo a while now. The music album of MERSAL is set to be launched on August 20th in Chennai and Rahman is likely to perform LIVE at the event.


    went to AR Rahman concert once, spent big bucks as I have a huge fan of his hindi music. The singers sang most songs in south indian languages, I felt like I wasted my money as I did not understand the language. He should have separate concerts in Hindi and Tamil


      Being AR Rahman’s fan, you should understand that language should not be a barrier. That is why he achieved a lot.
