Apparently, the Arya director met him recently and the two agreed in principle to work together in the near future. Confirming this, a source said that the two met at the ‘behest’ of a top production house.

“Sukumar met Prabhas at the behest of a leading production house. They both admire each other and have agreed in principle to collaborate. Sukumar has begun working on the script. If everything goes according to plan, Prabhas will shoot for this film after he wraps up Saaho,” added the source.

This is developing situation and it will be worth watching what happens next.

Interestingly, Sukumar is going through a terrific phase on the work front these days. His latest release Rangasthalam hit screens on March 30, 2018 and opened to a fabulous response at the box office. A rural drama, it features Ram Charan in the lead and has received praise courtesy its gripping performances. As far as Prabhas is concerned, he was last seen in the blockbuster Baahubali 2 and became the toast of Tollywood.

At present, he has the eagerly-awaited Saaho in his kitty. The team will soon be beginning an important schedule in the gulf. Besides Prabhas, it also features Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. A while ago, he had told a news agency that the OK Jaanu actor will be seen in a crucial role here and not just a small one.

“Her character is not just like coming and going or just there for the songs. The character is very important and adds a lot of weight to the story. It is one of the most important characters in the film. She has some amazing action sequences also. It is a very strong character,” he had added.

He also has a film with Pooja Hegde in his kitty.
