Actor Pranitha Subhas wasn’t seen much in Tollywood lately and the reason, the actress says, is that she always wanted to go slow in her career and choosing films. Pranitha will next be seen in Ram Pothineni starrer Hello Guru Prema Kosame which is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead role and Pranitha Subhash would be seen playing a key role in the film. “It’s a very relatable girl-next-door character; the sort of girl you would run into at a coffee shop or a movie hall. I have always played the homely girl who’s clad in traditional attires which is why I get a lot of saree and jewellery brand endorsements. Even when I meet people, they start talking to me in Telugu, even though I’m a Kannadiga. But my character in Hello Guru Prema Kosame will change that image of mine. You’ll see me as an urban city girl in glamourous clothes. I’ve never played a character like this,” Pranitha Subhash was quoted as saying by Times of India.
Pranitha adds that she was always slow on her career and was never in a rush to accept roles. “I’ve always been like this, very slow, I like to work aaramse. Besides my role, what lured me to take up the film is the chance to work with actors like Prakash Raj and Ram. I have already begun shooting for the film and I’m looking forward to coming to Hyderabad next month for shooting the next schedule,” adds Pranitha.
Last seen in Mahesh Babu starrer Bramhotsavam, Pranitha hadn’t done any films in Telugu since then and Hello Guru Prema Kosam will be her first in two years. This romantic saga is being produced by Dil Raju and will have music by Devi Sri Prasad.
