Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad has now turned to direction with a film titled Srivalli which will be a story about telepathy and how affects the lead actor’s life. Written and directed by Vijayendra Prasad himself, Srivalli will be a love triangle with lots of thrilling moments. The film is slated to be released on September 15th, 2017 and will have new faces in the cast. Speaking to a leading daily, Vijayendra Prasad spoke about how the idea for the film came to him and his future projects.

My good friend Ramesh and I studied in Vijayawada. After I settled in Hyderabad, I didn’t meet him for many years. In 2010, on Vinayaka Chaturthi, I thought of him and decided to see him and went to Vijayawada but he was no more. His mother showed me his diary that had an entry saying he thought of me on the same day as I did! How is it possible that both of us thought of each other on the same day? My film’s subject comes from this very thought,” Vijayendra Prasad told DC.

Vijayendra Prasad has also penned down the script for Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film MERSAL for which music is composed by A.R. Rahman. Vijayendra Prasad also said that he and Rahman are in discussions for a film. “At the film’s audio function, A.R. Rahman discussed a subject and asked me to develop it into a story. It’s an honour that he asked me to do it,” said the Baahubali writer.
