2017 was undoubtedly a good year for actress Raashi Khanna. In September, she received some good news when ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ opened to a thunderous response at the box office and garnered rave reviews along the way. Thereafter, she made her Mollywood debut with ‘Villain’ and added a new dimension to her career.
With 2017 behind her, Raashi is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’. The film is touted to be an action-entertainer and will see her share screen space with superstar Ravi Teja. During a recent chat with a leading daily, she said that she will be seen playing a glamorous character in the film. She added that the character will have a comic touch to it.
“In Touch Chesi Chudu, I play a glamorous role but it has a comic touch to it. I love comedy and the audience seem to receive me well in funny roles, like in Supreme. But the comic episodes between me and Ravi Teja are going to be “next level funny” and will leave the moviegoers in splits,” she added.
Besides this, Raashi also spoke about her career goals and said that she never really compares her work with that of her contemporaries as everyone has a different career plan.
“I compare myself only to my previous performances and do my best to improve. And when I love performances of other actors, I make sure I let them know. If I see a good performance, I applaud it. But I don’t compare myself to anyone else because everyone has her own journey,” added Raashi.
Well, we must say that this is a nice policy and we wish her good luck in her upcoming films.
On a related note, this is a busy time for her. Besides ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’, she also has ‘Tholi Prema’ in her kitty.
