Raj Tarun would be seen playing a character who suffers from Kleptomaniac, a rare disease. Kleptomaniac is the inability to refrain from the urge for stealing items and is usually done for reasons other than personal use or financial gain. How Raj Tarun’s life turns because of this disease he has and what kind of encounters he has in his life after the Amyra Dastur enters his life forms the crux of the story in Raju Gadu. Raju Gadu will be Amyra Dastur’s second film in Tollywood after making debut in Manasuku Nachindi which was directed by Manjula Ghattamneni. The film is being produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara.
Raj Tarun was last seen in Rangula Ratnam which released in January during the festive season of Sankranti and hit the screens alongside big-ticket films like Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi and Nandamuri Balakrisna’s Jai Simha. Besides having a genuinely entertaining story, failure of the other two films also helped Rangula Raatnam fared decently at the box office. Raj Tarun has had a decent run at the box office since his debut with Uyyala Jampala which was also presented by Annapurna Studios. And with films like Kittu Unnadu Jagratha and Andhagadu, Raj Tarun has kept himself busy with films continuing his success streak.
