During a recent chat with a leading daily, Rajasekhar opened up about the personal setbacks he suffered prior to the release of ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ and said that the film’s success is ‘god send’. Recalling how he had suffered a heart attack before the film went on the floors, he said that he went against the advice to take rest and shot for ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ as he did not want it to get delayed.
“It was a pretty tough period. I was having a terrible run at the box-office, then this heart attack happened. Had I taken three months rest, we would have had to postpone the film and I didn’t want that to happen. By God’s grace, it all went well,’ he added.
As it so happens, Rajasekhar’s mother passed away on the day the trailer was released while his brother-in-law died on the day ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ hit screens. Speaking about these setbacks, he said that the film’s success has pulled him out of an abyss.
“This success is a gift from God to pull me out from the abyss I found myself in,” he added.
Well, we are happy that ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ has done well at the box office and hope that he does not face any more problems in the days to come. In case you did not know, ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ was an action-thriller and also featured Pooja Kumar in the lead.
