Rakul Preet and Rashmika Mandanna being considered for Rajamouli’s multi-starrer with Jr NTR-Ram Charan?

Going by the reports in media outlets, Rajamouli’s multi-starrer with Ram Charan and Jr NTR may soon couple more of ‘R’. The makers had made an official announcement about the project projecting the working title as RRR, standing for the director and the lead actors’ names. Reports are afloat in media that the makers are considering Rakul Preet and Rashmika Mandanna for the female lead roles, and may approach the actresses. It is being said that Rajamouli is considering these two actresses for the film and might approach them. These unconfirmed reports also suggest that Rajamouli and the makers haven’t yet approached Rakul and Rashmika. Rakul Preet has worked with both, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, and has a slew of films in her kitty this year.

Rashmika Mandanna, who made her debut in Telugu Chalo, is also one of the leading contenders for many movies in South India. Rahsmika is currently shooting for the Nani-Nagarjuna multi-starrer which is being directed by Sriram Aditya. Rakul, on the other hand, is busy with her Tamil projects which includes Suriya’s NGK, Karthi’s untitled film and Sivakarthikeyan’s untitled film. Rakul Preet is also caught up with her upcoming Bollywood film with Ajay Devgn which will soon go on floors. While there were speculations that Samantha Akkineni may be roped in for hit massive film, it is confirmed yet whether Rajamouli has zeroed in on any of these actresses.

The multi-starrer is yet to be titled and is being bankrolled by Dhanayya under the banner DVV Entertainments. It is being said that the film will have Jr NTR and Ram Charan playing brothers and the story will have a sports backdrop to it. While we wait for more details to come out of the camp, it is also said that the film will not have much of CG work unlike Rajamouli’s previous film – Baahubali.
