Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is currently shooting for his upcoming film Savyasachi which is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Savyasachi will also star Nidhi Agerwal in the female lead role. The music of Savyasachi is being composed by veteran M.M.Keeravani who has rendered songs for more than 500 films in his career. It was being reported that Savyasachi may have the hit number, Ninnu Road Meedha, from Akkineni Nagarjuna’s film Allari Alludu as a reprised version, however nothing was confirmed. Interestingly, the song was composed by M.M.Keeravani himself and hence the speculations were all the more high. And buzz was also that Rakul Preet may be roped in to shake a leg for this special number in Savyasachi, reports suggested. However, Rakul Preet has rubbished all these reports and said that she is not doing any such special number. Reacting to a tweet, Rakul Preet said “Not True” on Twitter and denbied any such developments.

Savyasachi also stars Tamil actor R.Madhavan in an important role while Bhumika Chawla would be in a pivotal role too. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya had posted a picture which explained that Savyasachi translates to Ambidexter meaning one who can use both his hands with equal power and skill. The poster further explained that Savyasachi was the fifth name of Arjuna in Mahabharata because he was capable of using the bow with both his hands with equal power. This has created huge excitement around the film and fans of the Akkineni family are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. It is being reported that the film may hit the screens in July this year, however nothing is official yet.
Savyaachi will be Naga Chaitanya’s second association with director Chandoo Mondeti after the two worked on Premam, which was a remake of the Malayalam hit film with the same title. Premam was also Chandoo Mondeti’s last film as a director and seems quite kicked about Savyasachi. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Yuddham Sharanam which was directed by Krishna Marimuthu. Even though the film was not a commercial success, Chay received positive reviews for his role in the film from viewers and critics.
