Top producers Allu Arvind and Madhu Mantena announced a film recently that will be based on Ramayana, and will be made on a mammoth budget of INR 500 crores. The film will is touted to be bigger than Baahubali, as suggested by Allu Arvind. The makers are now on the lookout for actors for the roles in Ramayana, and are considering top actors from all the film industries across India.
Reports are emerging from film circles that Mega Power Star Ram Charan has been roped in for the epic film and will portray a key character in the film. The story of the film will be adapted from Ramayana and will be based on few chapters from the epic. Rumours are also doing rounds that Ram Charan has given his nod for the film, and has allotted dates for early 2018 since he has prior commitments till then.
An interesting poster is also doing rounds on social media which shows Ram Charan in the character of Lord Rama. It was later clarified that it was an edit by one of his fans and not an official poster from the movie Ramayana.
Ram Charan is currently working on Sukumar’s untitled film, which completed the first leg of shooting in Rajahmundry. The film has Ram Charan sporting a lungi for the first time in his career and new has it that he will be seen in that look throughout the film. The film also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. Samantha and Ram Charan are teaming up for the first time.
