Are you a fan of the charismatic and charming Ram Charan? If yes then get ready to rejoice as we have some awesome news in store for you. According to a leading daily, the young star and ‘Nenu Local’ director Nakkina Trinadha Rao may soon collaborate for a new movie. Moreover, it seems that the film will be based of Chiranjeevi’s critically acclaimed ‘Mantri Gari Viyankudu’. Confirming this, a source told a daily that it will not be a remake but a modern day adaptation of the megastar’s film.
“The film’s story will suit the modern audience’s sensibilities with a family drama amid a political scenario. The makers felt it would be great to adapt it to modern times. It won’t be a remake for sure, but a few key elements will be brought in,” added the source.
Well, we must say this is some exciting news, indeed! Let’s hope that the project gets finalised soon.
In case you did not know, ‘Mantri Gari Viyankudu’ was directed by Bapu and had hit screens in 1983. Besides Chiranjeevi, it featured Poornima Jayaram in the lead.

Besides the young man, it features Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead. As far as ‘Chiru’ is concerned he currently has the Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy biopic in his kitty.
