Telugu star Ram Charan is going through a terrific phase in life right now. His latest release Rangasthalam has turned out to be a big hit and received rave reviews from all corners. The Sukumar directorial is quite a departure from the Mega Power Star’s previous films and is being hailed as his finest work yet. A rural-drama, it features him in the role of a lively person named Chitti Babu and highlights a completely different side of his onscreen personality. During a recent interaction with the media, Charan said that he chooses films based on whether he likes the script and does not take his fans’ expectations into consideration while giving the nod to a film.

“Many people keep asking me this, but I I want to say that I never think about it. I sit with the director in a room and if I like the subject, I just go ahead with it and I never keep my fans in my mind — whether they like it or not. When I genuinely feel that it is a good script I go ahead with the movie, and my fans and my parents always feel proud of my choices,” added the star.
Charan also added that he is happy that his producers made big money and thanked Sukumar for offering him such a good role.
“Everyone appreciated my performance and I am happier now because the producer is satisfied that he has earned good money from the film. The industry needed a good hit at this time and in the coming days, there are a few big films. I hope those films too do well commercially,” added Charan.
With Rangasthalam in theatres, he will turn his attention to his film with Boyapati Srinu. He also has a film with SS Rajamouli in his kitty.
