If you are a fan of the much-loved Ram Charan, then get ready to rejoice as we have some good news in store for you. In an exciting development, his eagerly-awaited Rangasthalam has completed censor formalities and been passed with a U/A certificate. This means that it will hit screens as planned.
In case you did not know, Rangasthalam is touted to be a romantic-drama and has been directed by noted filmmaker Sukumar. In it, Charan will be seen playing a lively character named Chitti Babu. Besides the ‘Mega Power Star’, it also has Samantha Akkineni in the lead.
A few days ago, Charan had said that Rangasthalam helped him learn a lot about life in the village and appreciate its beauty.
“Except for a couple of times as a kid when I visited the sets of my dad’s films in some villages, I have never spent quality time in a village. Rangasthalam gave me the opportunity to appreciate and celebrate what it means to live in a village. Life is so peaceful in a village and we can’t find pure and clean people anywhere else. I kept thinking how much we miss staying in the cities. I need to thank team Rangasthalam and director Sukumar for this life-changing experience and I should admit I discovered a new Ram Charan in this process,” he had added.
Interestingly, the film has already received the thumbs up from Chiranjeevi. A while ago, a source had said that the megastar found it to be a classic in the making.
“Recently, Chiranjeevi along with Rajamouli and others saw the rushes of the film and were surprised to see that the film has come out beautifully, almost like a classic. He is satisfied with the way the film has shaped up,” the source had added.
So, will Rangasthalam live up to expectations? Comments, please!
