Mega Star Chiranjeevi made a comeback after a long gap of nine years with Khaidi No 150 which is directed by V V Vinayak. The film is a remake of Tamil hit Kaththi which featured Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Being Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, Khaidi No 150 went on to become a blockbuster and brought Chiranjeevi the fame and success. The film was produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan under their home production Konidela Productions.
Konidela Productions completed one year and celebrated its first anniversary on Sunday. Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan were part of the celebrations. Surender Reddy, who will be directing Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, also was present at the do.
Chiranjeevi is currently working on his 151st film which is based on Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who was hung to death by the British. The film will be directed by Surender Reddy and the script is being penned down by renowned writer brothers Paruchuri brothers.
Ram Charan, on the other hand, is working on his untitled film which is being directed by Sukumar. The film also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Ram Charan will be sporting a new avatar in this movie and the crew recently completed the first schedule of shooting in coastal town of Rajahmundry. This will be the first time that Ram Charan and Samantha will be working together. The film is set in a village backdrop.
Photos of Ram Charan from the shooting location were doing rounds on social media in which he is seen sporting a lungi. Speculations are that Ram Charan will be seen in a lungi throughout the movie.
