Sri Reddy and Ram Gopal Varma have been in the news for a long time now for their encounter with Pawan Kalyan regarding the casting couch issue. After Ram Gopal Varma admitted that he had instigated Sri Reddy to abuse Pawan Kalyan in front of the media, the whole situation has reached a new level with Pawan Kalyan making allegations that few politicians and news channels are behind these two celebrities to tarnish his image. Pawan Kalyan has been posting tweets against few news channel owners and political parties regarding the situation which has been receiving mixed responses from general public. While all this is happening parallelly, reports are doing rounds that Ram Gopal Varma may soon make a film with Sri Reddy in an important role. While there is no clarity on RGV’s upcoming film with Akkineni Nagarjuna – Officer, the focus has now shifted to the Sri Reddy saga and news of the controversial filmmaker making a film with the protesting actor is spreading like fire.

However, on the contrary, there are few reports doing rounds that the Telugu film industry and few associations are contemplating a ban on Ram Gopal Varma and Sri Reddy for their recent attacks on Pawan Kalyan and few other filmmakers. Reacting to this, RGV said that all these are gossips. “That’s all social media gossip. There’s no person in the Telugu film industry or any organization within the Telugu film industry, who said that they have boycotted my film. Contrary to this, they have formed a committee to address the issue raised by Sri Reddy,” Ram Gopal Varma was quoted as saying by The Hans India.

A lot has happened in the last few weeks in the Telugu film industry after Sri Reddy made allegations that she was sexually exploited by few top filmmakers and actors in exchange of work in their films.
