Rana Daggubati about his fitness mantra: I go to gym like I go to office.

During a recent interaction with TOI, actor Rana Daggubati opened up about his fitness mantra and said that he isn’t really a fitness freak but works out only to get into shape for his films. He went on to add that it is part of his job rather than his lifestyle.

“I will tell you a secret. I am not really that fit a guy. What happens is that I train for characters. For example, I spent five years for Baahubali. For films like that, you have to go extremely hardcore. You have to train like a body builder and an athlete. Fitness is not part of my everyday life. It’s a part of my job. I go to gym like I go to office. And, I really enjoy doing that because it for a certain role that I am playing,” he added.

Besides this, he also opened up his web series ‘Social’ and said that he decided to enter web space as he wants to explore different platforms of storytelling.

“I have done a lot of things in the industry. I am an actor; storyteller, producer and I have stories to tell in different mediums. Web series is one such attempt and I am thoroughly enjoying it,” he added.

Well, these are some candid revelations and are bound to give fans a closer look into Rana’s personal/professional goals.

On the work front, Rana was last seen in the political-thriller ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ which opened to a good response at the box office. Recently, he was approached to star in the Telugu remake of ‘Vikram Vedha’ but it is not known whether he’ll actually be doing it.
