Speaking to us recently in an exclusive interview Rana Daggubati had said,” Right now, I’m shooting for a film set in 1945. It’s a story about a soldier who fought in the INA regiment of Subhas Chandra Bose. It’s set in a turmoil kind of situation after the Tamil moves to South East Asia and Telugu moved to Burma. It’s being shot in Telugu and Tamil, a bilingual. It is being directed by Sathya Sivan.‘
The film will also feature Regina Cassandra in the other lead role and speaking about her role, Regina had told TOI, “I play a simple Chettiar girl. So throughout the film, you’ll see me wearing saree with minimal make-up. I’ve completed shooting a couple of sequences for the film in Chennai and Kochi and it has been fun to say the least. It’s a very nuanced character.“
