The highly anticipated NTR biopic is a talk of the town ever since it was announced. The biopic will feature Balakrishna himself in the titular role and will portray the life of NTR. Everything about the film is grabbing attention. NTR biopic will have an amazing star cast. The film will also see Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and the Baahubali star Rana Daggubati. Rana has already started prepping up for his role in the film. The actor will be seen playing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the biopic on Telugu actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR).

Rana Daggubati recently met N Chandrababu Naidu as he begins prepping up for his role. Baahubali actor took to social media and wrote, “What an honour it is to play the role of the Honourable ChiefMinister of Andhra Pradesh Mr.N.ChandraBabuNaidu @ncbn in the #NTR biopic. Thank you sir for giving us your valuable time.”

In an interview with Bangalore Mirror, Rana made a revelation that even before the script, Balakrishna had called him to that he wanted Rana to play Chandrababu Naidu. “Both of us are huge NTR fans. His life journey is an important story as he was our first face and voice and struck a chord with every Telugu speaking person across the world,” revealed Rana.

Adding futher on playing Naidu in the NTR biopic, Rana said, “For 25 years, I’ve seen Mr Naidu reign as a politician. He has had a great influence on our people and society. We’ve been working with images and videos from the archives taking us back to his days as youth student leader and his early days in politics to the beginning of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).”

The biopic will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi since NTR was a popular figure across India in films and political circles. Being jointly produced by Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati, the film will have music by MM Keeravani. The makers of the NTR biopic are eyeing to release the film on Sankranthi next year.
