The very talented and powerful actor, Rana Daggubati is arguably one of the most popular young stars in Telugu cinema today. The actor has been winning hearts of the audience ever since he has set his foot in the industry, courtesy his impressive performances and suave personality. On the work front, Rana will be seen in Haathi Mere Saathi, a Prabhu Solomon directorial film. The film will feature Rana in a new avatar. It is a tribute to Rajesh Khanna’s yesteryear classic of the same name and will highlight the relevance of nature in man’s life.
He is also making his Malayalam debut in a historical period film where he’s playing the King Of Travancore. Rana Daggubati has also lent his voice for Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War (Telugu).
On a related note, 2017 was a good year for Rana. He started off the year with The Ghazi Attack which did well at the box office and received rave reviews. Thereafter, he delivered a solid performance in Baahubali 2 and became the darling of T-Town. His final release was Nene Raju Nene Mantri which did well at the box office and earned critical acclaim.
Rana Daggubati also bagged ‘Best South Indian Actor ‘ for his performance in Baahubali 2. The actor joined the list of winners of the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Awards this year which included, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Rani Mukerji amongst others.
It is surely a proud year for the actor as Rana Daggubati’s two films- Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Ghazi recently won at the 65th National Film Awards. Ghazi won the Best Telugu film award and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion bagged the Best Action-direction, Best Special Effects and Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
