The makers have now released the second single, Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana, form the music album of Rangasthalam and the song is an exemplary folk number composed by the Rockstar. Said to be the title track of the film, Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana is truly a folk number with impressive beats and catchy tune. Sung by Rahul Sipligunj, the song is catching up with fans of Telugu music and is going viral on social media. Devi Sri Prasad has brought onboard authentic folk instrument players for Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana which makes it a bona fide folk song. Ram Charan is said to be playing a role with special abilities in the film and the story is said to be set in 1980s and will have a retro look to it. From the props used on the sets to the styling of the characters, everything seems to be perfectly set by the makers.
The makers had recently released a teaser which revealed the look of Samantha Akkineni in Rangasthalam. Named Rama Lakshmi in the film, Samantha dons a village belle look and seems an epitome of happiness. Right from the hair style to the costumes, everything about the role looks perfect to the T in the film. Speaking about her role in Rangasthalam, Samantha had recently said that this was the most rustic role she has ever done in her career. “The Telugu audience is going to see me in the most distinct avatar ever. Right from the dressing to the body language, this is the most rustic role I have taken up in Telugu and I am quite glad this part came to me,” Samantha had said.
