The makers of Rangasthalam, starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni, held a pre-release event for the film in Visakhapatnam in Sunday which saw a huge attendance of fans of the mega family. Mega Star Chiranjeevi was the chief guest at the pre-release event which was held at the beach side in the port city. The makers also released the trailer of Rangasthalam which showed that the film will be a Ram Charan show all the way. Samantha Akkineni looks solid and impressive in her look while Ram Charan as Chitti Babu kills it with his intense performance. The makers had recently released the teaser of Rangasthalam much to the joy of the waiting fans. Ram Charan narrates his life story in the teaser and reveals that he will be playing a hearing-impaired man, Chitti Babu. Similarly, a teaser for Samantha Akkkineni too was released which reveals her character, Rama Lakshmi. Both these teasers and the songs released so far has created huge buzz around the film and Rangasthalam is now the most awaited for film in South Indian cinema.

Samantha Akkineni will be pairing up with actor Ram Charan for the first time in Rangasthalam 1985 which is being directed by Sukumar. What has created huge excitement around the film is Ram Charan’s character in the film. It was being said that Ram Charan would be playing deaf and mute character in the film. However, the teaser, released recently cleared all the air around his role and showed us that he would be playing a visually impaired character in Rangasthalam. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad while it is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Rangasthalam is gearing up to hit the screens on March 30th, 2018 worldwide.

    Lol can’t see Bollywood doing film like this… they just good for commercial films…this is what makes Telugu and Tamil films so entertaining. I like when the movies are set in rustic backdrop.

    Nice.
    Only can see South doing village roles/story.
    What about Bollywood ? Never seen such rustic backdrop in bollywood. Its all only about glitz and glamour.
