Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja finally scores a hit with ‘Raja The Great’ after going through a lean patch in his career in the last few years. The mass actor also has another film under his belt which is titled ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ which would be directed by debutante Vikram Sirikonda. The film is said to be going on floors soon and the makers will aim to release it in mid of 2018. Ravi Teja was also part of the Telugu remake of Bogan which starred Jayam Ravi and Hansika in the lead roles. The remake will be directed by Lakshman who had directed the original too. But the latest reports reveal that Ravi Teja has decided to opt out of the remake for reasons unknown.

I had to rework the script for the Telugu audience. Also, Ravi Teja had done a certain type of films, to suit his style I tweaked my script. Now, when he says he cannot do the film, it is very upsetting. I need time to think about what to do next – to go with another actor or start working on a Tamil film,” director Lakshman told SilverScreen.  This decision of Ravi Teja seems to have upset the director and the makers of the remake, and it might be tough for them to find a replacement for Ravi Teja since the script of the film is locked. It is not clear yet if the remake of Bogan has been shelved or if the makers will decide to rope in another actor in place of Ravi Teja.
