Last year, the much-loved Telugu superstar Ravi Teja got his career back on track when his Raja The Great opened to a thunderous response at the box office while receiving rave reviews along the way. In the Anil Ravipudi directorial, he essayed the role of a visually-challenged but skilled man and delivered a commendable performance. The action-thriller also had the fast-rising Mehreen in the lead and proved to be a memorable Deepavali gift for the Mass Maharaja’s well-wishers.
With 2017 in the rearview, Ravi Teja began 2018 with Touch Chesi Chudu. However, the Vikram Sirikonda directorial did not quite live upto expectations and turned out to be a disappointment for his fans. An action-drama, it featured him in the role of a cop and reunited him with his Bengal Tiger co-actor Raashi Khanna. While talking about him, she had said that he is a terrific person to work with.
“He’s just as amazing as always and I love working with him. For me, it is a matter of happiness to be in the same frame as him and add value to the scene. He has been dubbing for the film and he recently that he texted to tell me that I have done a brilliant job, at times, even better than him. Coming from him, it really is a big deal,” she had told a daily.
At present, Ravi Teja is shooting for Nela Ticket. And, recently, it was rumoured that the star picked up an injury during the shoot of a crucial action sequence. However, it seems that the rumour was incorrect as the ‘Mass Maharaja’ is fine and nothing went wrong during the shoot.
“Nothing happened.. all false news .. don’t worry.. he is damn perfect as always, (sic),” Kalyan Krishna wrote on the social media.
So, are you looking forward to Nela Ticket? Comments, please!
