Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is back in front of the arc lights, after a hiatus, with Raja The Great which is being directed by Anil Ravipudi. The unit of the film is currently shooting important scenes in Darjeeling with Ravi Teja and Mehreen Pirzada, who plays the female lead in the film. Raja The Great is being produced by Dil Raju.
Ravi Teja is also working on another film titled Touch Chesi Chudu which will be directed by debutant Vikram Sirikonda. The story of this film is penned by Vakkantham Vamsi and is bankrolled by Nallamalapu Bujji. The shooting of this film will commence in June after Ravi Teja completes major portions for Raja The Great.
Buzz is that Ravi Teja has given his nod for another film which will be directed by Gopichand Malineni. The duo has worked in the past in Balupu and Don Seenu, and both the films were blockbusters. Ravi Teja and Gopichand will look to continue their successful combo with their third film, and make it a hat-trick.
“They met and discussed an outline which Ravi Teja was impressed by. He asked Gopichand to develop it by the time he finishes work on Anil Ravipudi’s Raja the Great and Vikram Sirikonda’s Touch Chesi Chudu,” reveals a source close.
Ravi Teja’s last two films, Kick-2 and Bengal Tiger, tanked at the box office and hence Ravi Teja had taken a sabbatical. “Ravi Teja is now keen to work on films without a break as he doesn’t want to waste any time. More so, because several interesting projects are coming his way,” adds the source.
We hope the Mass Maharaja is back in his form!
