Ravi Teja

Last year, the much-loved Telugu superstar Ravi Teja got his career back on track when his Raja The Great opened to a good response at the box office while receiving rave reviews along the way. In the Anil Ravipudi directorial, he essayed the role of a visually-challenged but skilled man and delivered an awesome performance. The action-thriller also had the fast-rising Mehreen in the lead and proved to be the perfect Deepavali gift for the Mass Maharaja’s well-wishers.

Earlier this year, he returned to the big screen with Touch Chesi Chudu and this gave his fans a reason to celebrate. Directed by Vikram Srikonda, it featured him in the role of a cop and opened to an okay response at the box office. A typical action-entertainer, it also had Raashi Khanna in the lead and received underwhelming reviews from most critics.

With these films in the rearview, Ravi Teja is currently shooting for Nela Ticket which is being directed by Soggade Chinni Nayana fame Kalyan Krishna and will be produced by Ram Talluri.

Now, it seems that he may have signed his next film. According to a leading daily, Ravi Teja will work with Harish Shankar pretty soon in a film titled Seeti Maar. Talking about this, a source said that the actor has really liked the script and feels that it could help him change his onscreen image.

“Ravi Teja is floored with his characterisation. He believes the film would bring him back in the vogue to the masses,” added the source.

Well, this is good news and is bound to create a buzz amongst fans.

In case you did not know, Harish Shankar and Ravi Teja have previously collaborated for Shock and Mirapayaka. As such, fans are bound to have some expectations from this one.
