Reports have been rounds that Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has been approached by the makers of Chiranjeevi‘s next film on Uyyalawada and the actress has quoted a hefty amount to be part of it. Buzz was also that the actress was given a narration by the makers but were taken aback after the actress quoted such huge amount for a lead role.
But now, according to a source, reports of Aishwarya Rai quoting such an amount and hearing a narration of the story are incorrect. “Reports of Aishwarya charging a hefty amount for the movie are all baseless. She has only been approached for the movie yet and Aishwarya has just read the synopsis. A meeting between the actress and Chiranjeevi will happen only after Aishwarya returns from her New York trip,” a source said.
There were reports too earlier that the producer, Chiranjeevi‘s son Ram Charan, had met the actress and discussed about the film which are now being said to be false. Since, the actress is in New York, she hasn’t heard anything else except for a brief synopsis of the film, according to sources.
Besides Chiranjeevi, the only other actor to have been finalised in the cast is Ravi Kishan who would play the antagonist in the story.
Chiranjeevi‘s 151st film, which will be based on freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy, is being directed by Surender Reddy. The story and dialogues are penned down by veteran writer brothers duo Paruchuri brothers. The production is being handled by Ram Charan under their home banner Konidela Productions.
