Saakshyam First Look: Pooja Hegde-Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ chemistry is electrifying

Last year, the bold and bindass Pooja Hegde made an emphatic return to Telugu cinema when Duvvada Jaganadham hit screens on Eid and opened to a good response at the box office. An action-comedy, it also had Allu Arjun in the lead and featured the lovely lady in a glamorous new avatar that she carried off like a boss. Talking about being a part of DJ, she had said that it made her a better performer.

“The atmosphere was always jovial… not a single dull moment. Allu Arjun is a generous actor and always gives tips in dance and acting. I genuinely feel DJ made me a better actor,” she had told a leading news agency.

Now, with DJ in the past, there is some more good news for her. In an exciting development, the official first look poster of her Saakshyam has been released. And, as expected, it is quite good. In it, the Hegde girl can be seen alongside her dashing co-star Bellamkonda Sreenivas. And, not surprisingly, the two look good together.  Their chemistry has a raw and classy feel to it. This truly is just what the doctor ordered this Valentine’s Day. That’s how you make an impact!

Interestingly, recently, Pooja had said that she will be seen in a traditional avatar in Saakshyam.

“I play an extremely traditional Telugu girl in Saakshyam. It’s a character which has many layers to it and one that I thoroughly enjoyed essaying. I don’t like to be one-dimensional as an actor and do not want to get typecast” Pooja had told a leading daily.

On a related note, this is a busy time for Pooja. Besides Saakshyam, she also has Mahesh Babu’s film with Oopiri director Vamsi Paidapally in her kitty.

So, did you like the Saakshyam poster? Comments, please!
