Sai Dharam Tej did not take remuneration for Krishna Vamsi’s Nakshatram

The actor did not charge anything for his role in Nakshatram since it was just a cameo and not a full length role.

Krishna Vamsi’s Nakshatram I currently the talk of the town after the makers released the audio and the theatrical trailer of the film in a grand event on Wednesday. Featuring Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Prahya Jaiswal and Sai Dharam Tej, story of Nakshatram seems to be about police and the challenges they face in their profession. Nakshatram also stars Prakash Raj in an important role.

According to reports, actor Sai Dharam Tej did not charge for his role in Nakshatram since it was a a cameo and not a full fledge role. “Since it was a cameo and was something that got Sai really excited, he did not charge any fee for it. Krishna Vamsi went out of his way and thanked him for the gesture,” a source from the film’s unit told a news agency.

Sai Dharam Tej seems to be quite happy doing that because he would gain the experience of working with a filmmaker like Krishna Vamsi. Speaking about this experience of working with Krishna Vamsi, Sai Dharam Tej said, “I really enjoyed working with him; he taught me a lot. It is one experience that I would cherish throughout my career. I want to thank him for giving me this opportunity.”

Slated to be released in August, Nakshatram is being produced by K. Srinivasulu, S. Venugopal and Sajju under the banner Butta Bomma Creations. Nakshatram also stars veteran actor JD Chakravarthy who is appearing in films after a long gap.
