The teaser of Super Star Mahesh Babu’s SPYder was unveiled by the makers today and in less than few hours of release, it has already clocked thousands of digital views. A hi-tech spider crawling across the tables and over Mahesh’s arm, the concept looks intriguing and visuals look stunning. Shot by ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan, SPYder seems to have top notch quality visuals and another feather in the ace cameraman’s hat.

Santosh Sivan is best known for his works on films like Thalapathi, Roja, Kalapani, Iruvar, Dil se, Raavanan and Thuppakki. He has worked with top filmmakers like Mani Ratnam, Karan Johar and Priyadarshan among others. Known for bringing out the serene visuals, Santosh Sivan is working with A R Murugadoss for the second time in SPYder after Vijay’s Thuppakki.

Santosh Sivan has worked with Mani Ratnam on quite a few films in the past like Roja, Ravanan and Thalapathi, which went on to become classics. This duo is known to produce emphatic visuals in their films and have always made South Indian movie-lovers go crazy with their works.

A.R.Murugadoss seems to have struck a chord with Santosh Sivan and the rapport between them seems to show off in their work. Thuppakki was a blockbuster film in Vijay’s career and Santosh Sivan’s camera work played a major role in bringing out the best of Vijay and Murugadoss.

Before the first look of SPYder was released by the makers, random pictures of Mahesh Babu from the shooting locations had gone viral online. Those pictures were raising the expectations around SPYder and few had even taken those pictures to be the first look Mahesh Babu from the film. After the release of teaser, SPYder will be the talk of the town till the time it hits the screens.
