After making an impressive debut in the 2017 release Arjun Reddy, actor Shalini Pandey has now made her singing debut with a Telugu single titled Naa Prranamay. Collaborating with Lagori, Shalini features in the video alongside the lead singer Tejas Shankar. The romantic single is a soothing number and will leave us asking for more. With this song, the young actor has proven to be multi-faceted individual which film industries have always encouraged and embraced with open arms. Shalini Pandey started her acting career in theatre before trying her hands in few television daily soaps in Hindi. It was the 2017 release Arjun Reddy that brought her the due credit. Shalini Pandey, despite having a shorter length role, impressed everyone with her performance. Shalini Pandey recently had said that theatre helped her groom a lot and build a foundation. “I feel that theatre and cinema are two completely different forms, and according to me, they cannot be compared. Theatre builds a person into an artist and makes a better person. And cinema has its own dynamics. And I always wanted to be in cinema, and coming from theatre background, it helped me a lot. So, for me, theatre is always dear to me,” Shalini had told PINKVILLA in an exclusive interview.

And making her debut in singing with Naa Praanamay, Shalini Pandey is sure looking do some varied work in films. Speaking about getting typecasted, Shalini had said, “I get bored very soon and cannot be doing the same stuff always. And that’s why I wanted to become an actor. I get bored with myself many a times. And that’s my personality. So, yeah I don’t want to get type casted and I’m putting in conscious efforts to avoid that happening. And also, whenever I do a role, I want to take something back home from it and learn something new. Otherwise, to me it’s a waste of time.”
