Actor Sharwanand is gearing up for the release for his upcoming film titled RADHA that is being directed by debutant Chandra Mohan. The film is slated to be released on May 12, 2017, giving some time for the Baahubali 2 wave to calm down. The film also features Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead.
Sources close to the actor reveal that Sharwanand has signed his next film already. The film will be directed by renowned director Dasarath who has delivered hit films in the past like Mr. Perfect with Prabhas and Santosham with Akkineni Nagarjuna.
“Some time back Dasarath narrated a subject to the actor, which he liked and has accepted,” says a source close to the actor.
The film will be produced by Tagore Madhu and Dasarath is working on finalising the script. The cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalised and an official confirmation is expected soon.
Sharwanand is on a high in his career with his previous film Shatamanam Bhavati becoming a successful one. The film also received a National Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Shatamanam Bhavati is produced by Dil Raju and directed by Satish Vegesna.
Director Dasarath isn’t in the best of form lately. His previous two films, Greeku Veerudu and Shourya, haven’t done well at the box office. His last successful project was in 2011 with Prabhas in Mr. Perfect. Choosing to work with a director whose record is not that great presently is a bold choice by Sharwananad.
