Nani suggested changes in Aadhi’s character to make it more prominent

Romantic-drama Ninnu Kori is gearing up for release on July 7th, 2017 and the team behind the film have started promotions for the film. Featuring Natural Star Nani, Nivetha Thomas and Aadhi Pinisetty in lead roles, Ninnu Kori is directed by debutante Shiva Nirvana who has been waiting to work with Nani for a long time now.

Speaking to a news agency, Shiva Nirvana spoke about quite a few things about actor Nani and his first film as director, Ninnu Kori. Shiva says that Nani is an actor who wants his co-actors to have equal importance in the story of the film. “He is someone who wants his stories to work. He cares about other characters in a story. After I narrated the script, he suggested that I make some changes to Aadi’s character and make it even more prominent. It’s a rare quality,” said Shiva Nirvana.

Having received an opportunity to work with Nani in his first film, Shiva Nirvana seems to be very excited about it. “Even while working as an assistant director, I tried to meet him and pitch stories. Over the years, I must have planned four to five stories with him. A lot of first time directors want to work with Nani because he gives prime importance to the story over anything,” Shiva told the news agency.

Talking about Ninnu Kori, Shiva Nirvana says that the story is an emotional one and not a sad story as is being interpreted by few viewers. “It’s a romantic film about the emotional conflict between the lead characters. This is easily the most emotional film in Nani’s career. But it’s not a sad film. It has a great scope for comedy, but it’s not forced to make audiences laugh,” he added.

Ninnu Kori is being produced by DVV Dhanayya and being presented by popular writer Kona Venkat.
