Shraddha Srinath, who came to limelight with Mani Ratnam’s Cheliyaa, is going great guns in her career at the present moment. The actress is making her debut in Telugu cinema with the directorial venture of Ravikanth Prerepu which will also star Siddhu Jonnalagadda of Guntur Talkies fame. The film will start rolling from mid-June and the makers are looking to release it by end of 2017. And going by the recent reports, the audience of the Telugu states will get to see more of her.
According to emerging reports, Shraddha Srinath has signed her second film in Telugu. The untitled film is directed by Viswanath Arigela and the story will be a romantic comedy. “Shraddha is getting a lot of offers in Telugu, but she’s being choosy as she wants to make a great start here, just like she did in Kannada with the film U-Turn. This was one of the projects she liked,” a source was quoted in a leading daily.
Shraddha Srinath is having a great time in her career with multiple films under her belt. The actress is currently working on three films in Tamil – Ivan Thanthiran with Gautham Karthik, Vikram Vedha with R. Madhavan and Richie alongside Nivin Pauly. In Kannada, Shraddha has Shadibhagya lined up which will commence shooting soon.
Shraddha shot to fame with Kannada Super hit film U-Turn that had her play the lead female role. The actress was well appreciated for her performance in U-Turn and soon started receiving offers from all the South Indian film industries.
