Director Srinu Vytla is going through a horrendous patch in his career with back to back flops in Aagadu and Bruce Lee. His latest movie, Mister, hit the screens today and looking the response of the critics and reviewers, this might get added to the list as well. Starring Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi and Hebah Patel the film was promoted aggressively and the makers expected the film to do well. But unfortunately, it turns be yet another dud for ‘Mister’ Vytla.
A premier show was screened for the film fraternity and most of the bigwigs attended since the film was of a Mega Hero. The response looked disturbing and unexpected. The makers waited till the first show if the release day was over and get a report of the performance of the film, and regrettably they had to face the grief. Mister turns out to be another dud and fails to keep the audience engaged in the movie.
Critics had a different say though. Few heaped praised but many expressed displeasure. Many expected that Srinu Vytla would learn from his previous setbacks and would come up with a story which would bring him back in the race but looks like he has disappointed again. One of the portals called it a ‘DUD’ while another one said it was unbearable. One of the critics said that it is a typical Vytla film with the same old formula.
Varun Tej’s last film Loafer was a flop too which was directed by Puri Jagannadh. Varun badly needed a hit in his career because out of the four films in his career, he only has one film which he can boost about – Kanche.
