If you are a fan of the dashing Sudheer Babu then get ready to rejoice as we have some good news in store for you. In an exciting development, the 38-year-old star is all set to star in a film based on the life of noted Badmintion player P Gopichand. And, as expected, he is quite excited about the same.
During a recent interaction with IANS, Sudheer Babu said that he feels that he will be able to do justice to the film as he is a trained Badminton player.
“I’m kicked about the film. I’m confident I can do justice to the role because I’m a trained Badminton player. I have been playing for many years and I understand the sensibilities of the character better than anyone,” he added.
Moreover, he spoke about the film’s director Praveen Sattaru and said that he was looking forward to working with him.
“He has been working on the story for nearly two years. I’m looking forward to working with him. Post ‘Baaghi’, I was offered a few Hindi projects but I had kept myself free for this film,” he said.
Interestingly, the biopic will be shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. It will be bankrolled by Vikram Malhotra who is currently busy with the Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Chef’.
Well, it goes without saying that this is a big project for Sudheer Babu. We hope that is able to make an impact with his performance in this one.
