During a recent chat with a leading daily, actor Sundeep Kishan opened up about his upcoming film ‘C/o Surya’ and said that he be seen playing his age in the romantic-comedy. He went on to add that his character can best be described as the typical ‘boy next door’.
“After long, I’ve played my age. My strength is to play roles that are close to reality. In this film, I am a relatable boy-next-door,” he added.
Besides this, he also showered on his co-star Mehreen Pirazada and said that she is a very positive individual to work with. Sundeep Kishan went on to add that he wanted her luck to help him taste success at the box office.
“She is very positive and that’s the nicest thing about her. I’ll be glad if her luck helps me taste success,” added the actor.
Interestingly, Sundeep Kishan’s last release ‘Nakshatram’ did not really live up to expectations and bombed at the box office. Talking about this, he said that he wasn’t too hurt by its failure as he had worked on the film with full sincerity.
I don’t think there was a huge impact. Everyone knows that I did genuine work.
“If you look at my earlier films, they are serious. People missed the ‘fun’ element in my old films. My upcoming films will have that,” he said.
Well, we wish Sundeep Kishan the very best for ‘C/O Surya’ and hope that it does well at the box office. So, are you looking forward to this one?
