Superstar Mahesh is currently shooting for his upcoming film rumoured to be titled Bharath Ane Nenu which is being directed by Siva Koratala. Mahesh would be see playing a politician in the film which will be for the first time in his career. Bharath Ane Nenu stars Bollywood actress Kiara Advani as the leading lady and will be her first film down South. And while all these are in progress, reports are doing rounds that Mahesh Babu will team up with director Sukumar for the second, having worked with him on Nenokkadine in the past.
“At that time, Sukumar told Mahesh Babu that he would deliver a good hit with him in his next film. The filmmaker is preparing a different story this time for Mahesh and once he completes Rangasthalam 1985, he will move on to Mahesh’s film,” a source close to Sukumar was quoted by DC. The previous collaboration of the two, 1 Nenokkadine, did not fare well at the box office and was a disappointment to the superstar and the filmmaker. Mahesh Babu also has a film with Baahubali director S.S.Rajamouli which will begin only after the latter finishes his upcoming film. It is not yet clear whether Mahesh will first begin his film with Sukumar or S.S.Rajamouli.
On the other hand, Sukumar is currently working on Ram Charan’s upcoming film ‘Rangasthalam’ which is set in the mid 80s. The shooting of the film is currently under way in Hyderabad and the makers are aiming to release the film in January 2018.
