Taapsee Pannu, known for her hard hitting roles in Baby and Pink, has made a noteworthy mark in the Bollywood industry. However, before she ventured into the the big bad world of B-Town, the beautiful actress made it big down south.

Taapsee made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam, helmed by K Raghavendra Rao. Since then, she has appeared in a number of critically acclaimed films such as Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju and Mr. Perfect. One of her Tamil films, Aadukalam, went on to win six National Film Awards at the 58th National Film Awards.

When it comes to her individual style and sartorial sense, the ever stylish actress says she prefers styles that are “classic and comfortable and trendy.” Recently, the gorgeous star was seen in a Gaurang Sari and worked the ethnic look like never before.

The saree seen in the picture above, is from the designer’s new bidri inspired collection, and was something that Taapsee took a special liking to. Inspired by the bidri craft design, the beautiful convergence of design, color, texture woven in 6 yards, is pure magic!

When asked about his thoughts on his new collection and Taapsee sporting a saree from the same, the designer said that she carried it off with impeccable grace and elan. Speaking about the collection, he said, “My ultimate goal is to offer women versatility while evoking confidence, comfort and a sense of beauty.” “Taapsee is a perfect example of modernity and style,” he added.
