Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, one of the most anticipated films that is to release next year, has got a new star on board. Being made on a whopping budget, the film is grabbing all the attention over its casting. According to the latest reports, now Tamannaah Bhatia has been signed up to play a crucial role in the film. The actress is set to surprise her fans.
Yes, it is being said that the actress will play a very important role in the film. The role excited her, which made her say ‘yes’ immediately. Interestingly, the film is overflowing with talent as recently Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan also shot for his part on a grand set built for the project in Hyderabad.
Big B will be seen in a cameo in the biopic on the life of Rayalaseema freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Set in the backdrop of British-ruled India, megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen as the freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
Talking about the other star cast; Nayanthara is playing the female lead while Sudeep, Kiccha Sundeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathy Babu among others have already been brought on board. This film also marks Vijay Sethupathi’s debut in Tollywood.
The film is produced by Ram Charan Teja under his banner Konidela Production Company. Director Surender Reddy is helming the project and Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman was signed as composer initially during the project was announced.
Coming back to Tamannaah Bhatia, besides Sye Raa, the actress has a lot of films in her kitty. While her Tamil film Kanne Kalaimane is in the post-production mode, she also has a couple of Telugu films, Naa Nuvve and Queen Once Again (remake of the Hindi hit movie ‘Queen’) in different stages of production besides her debut Marathi film, ABC.
