During a recent interaction with a leading daily, actress Tamannaah praised director SS Rajamouli and said that she loved being part of his magnum opus ‘Baahubali’. She went on to add that the maverick director has never delivered a flop as he knows the preferences of movie buffs very well and has a solid style of storytelling.
“Rajamouli sir has a 100 per cent success rate because of his storytelling style and screenplays being extremely strong. Those who have worked with him, would know what I am talking about. He is a well-planned director who knows what would appeal to the audience. Along with all of that, he is a humble man,” she added.
Interestingly, the Hindi-dubbed version of ‘Baahubali’ was presented by none other Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar. And, as it so happens, Tamannaah is a fan of the ‘My Name Is Khan’ filmmaker. Praising him, the 27-year-old diva said that it is every actor’s dream to work with him. However, at the same time, she said that she is not collaborating with him in the near future.
“I did meet him quite a few times. We had regular conversations but there were no talks of movies. So nothing is on the cards as of now,” added the lovely lady.
Well, we hope that she gets the chance to work with KJo pretty soon. On a related note, Tamannaah is currently gearing up to shoot for ‘Queen Once Again’. A Neelakanta directorial, it is a remake of ‘Queen’ and will see her essay the role played by Kangana Ranaut in the original.
